Our Resort is currently looking for an Activities Team Leader to join our Entertainments team at Bognor Regis.

Purpose of the role:
To assist the entertainments support manager in the overall success and consistent smooth running of the activity and Redcoat related product. The activity Team leader will support the activity team in training, delivering and maintaining the standards of the activity Redcoat Areas, related predominantly to entertainment activities, events, venue support, holiday hosting duties and DJ’s. This role is based in Bognor Regis.

The activities Team leader is responsible for the Activity Redcoats and is responsible to the Entertainments Support Manager day to day and central support leaders on specific product, team or processes relevant to the role, via the support manager.

Key Responsibilities:
•Support the delivery of the entertainment: taking an active role in being on the shop floor with our guests and team
•Role Model behaviour as a ‘Redcoat Team Leader’ by being in Redcoat uniform at all times on family breaks
•Attend Central training for all activity and Redcoat product, with a view to communicate operational points of delivery to the support manager, where relevant
•Maintain the activity delivery of procedures and standards set at the training stage
•Deliver or in certain instances, coordinate continuous training, coaching nd support to furnish a robust cover programme of all Redcoat activities and for new team members joining the activity Redcoat role
•Work with the Entertainments support manager to schedule guest activities, taking into consideration turnaround time, venue availability and meeting of demand
•Manage all stock, materials and the replenishment need of equipment needed to run the activity offered
•Work with the entertainments support manager to ensure all activity Redcoats have the correct tools to carry out their roles (including venue support and DJ’ing)
•Develop and Maintain a strong working relationship with the Animation Team Leader to work together on developing the team and Redcoat area
•As an aid function to the entertainments support manager, take an active role in the regular team meetings communicating information that relates to the area of activities and Redcoats
•Support the Redcoat rota process, via the entertainments support manager and SAM system
•Support the day to day running of the Redcoat area
•Liaise as appropriate with entertainment leaders
•General support for the entertainments department, where needed

Team Effectiveness:
•Provide effective and clear communication to the team
•Coach and inspire the Redcoat activity team in their roles, through feedback, team building and ensuring you give the team a voice
•Support with appraisals and performance reviews where needed
•Role model correct behaviours in line with our culture

Communicating Effectively:
•Follow the company’s guidelines / best practice when liaising with visiting suppliers and guest artists
•Attending and participating in all relevant internal and external meetings in connection with the responsibilities of the position
•Liaises as appropriate with your line manager
•Ensure open Communication with the entertainment central support team

Compliance / Legislation / Control:
•Adhering to all company procedures, best practices, support resort and branding guidelines
•Following and enforcing all relevant legislation including Health, Safety, Hygiene and Fire

•Guest qualitative feedback (TI)
•Team engagement and likelihood to advocate
•Team Retention
•Product Audits – where applicable
•Individual goals maybe set for measurement of success by the entertainments support manager
