Accommodation Stores Manager

Butlin's are currently looking for an Accommodation Stores Manager. You would be accountable for (this list is not exclusive):

Managing the day to day running of Accommodation Stores
Managing the tasks and wellbeing of the Leaders and Team
Ordering the stock for the Accommodation department
Keeping the Accommodation Stores accounts up to date
Filing and archiving all relevant paperwork
Managing the Accommodation Stores building
Managing and keeping the Accommodation Stores stock
Localised stock control
Localised budget control
Team training and development and performance management
Rosters in accordance to occupancy levels, within budget numbers to cover needs of the business
Appraisals and coffee chats with leaders and team

You would be responsible for:

Managing the day to day running of Accommodation Stores
Managing the tasks and wellbeing of the leaders and team
Reward and recognition for leaders and team
Holiday planning for leaders and team
Team and leaders’ rosters (4 weeks advance where possible)
Rosters closely in line with weekly payroll budgets
Development of stores leaders
Training with emphasis on Accommodation Stores and relevant Porter duties
Conveying KPI’s to the Accommodation Stores leaders and team (including guest feedback, TI, NPS, team survey, ENPS, resort news, accommodation newsletter, comms pack and relevant budget and cost information)
Sourcing specialist and tailored items for the department
Filing and archiving all relevant paperwork
Managing the Accommodation Department vehicle fleet
Managing the Accommodation Support Team Members
Managing and keeping the Accommodation Stores stock, ensuring H&S, stock rotation and COSHH is adhered to
Managing the receipting, picking and delivery process
Stock Control and Stocktaking of Accommodation Stores, plus overseeing the processing, administration and localised accounting of the Accommodation general stock
Localised Health & Safety Compliance including H&S audit
Localised budget control and expenditure
Linen management for the Accommodation department
Minimising stock wastage
Decanting and managing new and base stock movement for Village projects
Directly liaise with our laundry partners (including logistic contract negotiations)
Keeping capital accounts and capital Stock ordering (at behest of HOD)

Essential to the role:

Guest focused
Leadership skills
Experience preferably in budgets store keeping and stock control
Excellent communication skills with an organised and methodical approach
Strong motivational skills
Computer literacy
