HR Advisor

Bourne Leisure are looking for an ambitious HR Advisor to join us and support our new Digital team.

Purpose of the role
To support the day to day functioning of all People activities within the Digital Function, taking an advisory role on best practices for recruitment and retention of teams as well as general People services.

Key Responsibilities 

•Advise leaders and provide guidance on HR policies and procedures
•Understand recruitment needs and lead recruitment of new teams and retention of existing teams based upon this understanding
•Write job descriptions for digital team, engaging with leaders to capture nuances and details
•Help leaders with their interview techniques, manage supporting technical reviews and partners who may assist
•Manage the end to end onboarding process for all new teams, from unsuccessful / offer letter to end of 90 days
•Manage all employee relation queries ranging from absence; family friendly matters through to performance management
•Training and supporting leaders on HR Matters
•Monitoring key recruitment metrics, such as team turnover and retention figures
•Support OKR (Opportunities Key Results) process with leadership team
•Identifying development needs and support on any implementation of any digital specific development programmes. 
•Represent Bourne Digital at external recruitment and development events
•Ensure all training is completed and up to date on Safe & Secure

Skills Required
•Requires an in-depth knowledge of their own function
•Requires an understanding of Digital Teams and running of function
•HR/ Business degree needed and/ or working towards CIPD qualifications 
•Experience of working within a Technology or Digital environment although not essential
•Ability to interpret challenges and recommend best practice on HR/ER queries
•Help to support the People Plan within the Digital Function
•Ability to solve a range of problems/queries
•Ability to advise all leaders
•Impacts directly on team turnover and team engagement
•Impacts on employment brand 
•Makes recommendations on HR practices to all leaders within Digital Team
•Deals with high level of complexity and requires thinking
•Personable with strong communication and relationship building capabilities across all levels
