Social Media Executive
We are looking for a Social Media Executive to join our marketing team here at Butlin’s.
About the role:
Reporting to the Senior Social Media, Content & PR Manager, you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day running of the Butlin’s Live Music Weekend social media channels. You will be a music-lover, understand the key social media channels and have a passion for content.
You will be responsible for:
Managing all social media content for Butlin’s Live Music Weekends, from briefing to scheduling.
Implement and manage a blogger programme for Butlin’s Live Music Weekends.
Build relationships with a variety of teams including entertainment, marketing, content, product and resort.
Responsible for growing and building the Live Music Weekend brand across social media.
Implementing test and learns and sharing key insights with relevant teams.
Continue to identify new channels/functionalities for the brand.
Working alongside a videographer/editor to help develop content for the Live Music Weekend brand.
We are looking for:
Must have experience working in social media and have a strong understanding of the different channels and formats.
Somebody who has a creative mind and understands how to use social media to engage with new and existing audiences.
Will be used to working as part of a team, be a self-starter and problem-solver.
Has experience working with videographers/photographers, briefing, storyboarding and working together to come up with new content ideas.
The ideal candidate must be a people-person, who can work collaboratively and build relationships.
This person must have a strong eye for detail, strong written, oral and interpersonal skills and commercial awareness.
We are looking for someone who is prepared to be flexible with working hours (weekend work will be required) and who holds a full, clean driving license.
