The key responsibilities

Rehearse and learn production show content, this will include vocals, choreography, direction, dialogue, spacing and working with props and on occasion pyrotechnics and stage effects
Perform live to deliver a selection of amazing Productions shows in our Centre Stage venue
You will be responsible for swinging certain roles in each of the shows in line with your talent; you will be expected to learn all vocals and routines, including backstage choreography for these swing roles and be expected to retain all content in readiness for performing.
Ensure your vocal health and physical fitness is maintained to remain at a high performing standard for all live shows.
Provide our guests with an incredible entertainment package which they can experience in the most enjoyable and comfortable way
Inspire and motivate team members and guests with passion, energy and commitment
Be open to learning new skills and developing your own knowledge of Butlin’s
Maintain the shows delivery of direction, choreography and standards set at the rehearsal stages through all performances
Ensure you take all show notes, amend any corrections and as a performer be able to self-assess your own performances.
Inspire and motivate other team members with passion, energy and commitment
Attend all required training as set out in your rota/schedule (Training for all entertainment areas will be provided to ensure team are competent capable and comfortable)
Communicating Effectively Externally
Following the company guidelines/best practices when liaising with visiting suppliers and guest artists
Ensure that all guidelines are followed/met when appearing as a performer away from the resort environment (outside events- if needed)
Communicating Effectively Internally
Attending and participating in all relevant internal and external meetings in connection with the responsibilities of the position
Liaising as appropriate with your line manager
Ensure open communication with the entertainment department across the three resorts and central support team
Role model correct behaviours in line with our culture
Adhering to all company procedures, best practices, support resort and branding guidelines
Following and enforcing all relevant legislation including health, safety, hygiene and fire
Ensuring the safety of customers and team members, especially by following all safety guidelines set out in your training, with particular focus on rehearsals, stage, scenery and prop safety precautions.

Guest qualitative feedback (TI)
Guest likelihood to rebook / advocate (NPS)
Product/Entertainment audits – where applicable
Individual goals will be set for measurement of success by the head of shows leader
