Resort Brand Communications Manager - Butlin's
We are looking for a Resort Brand Communications Manager to join our Marketing team here at Butlin’s
About the role:
To deliver the best pre-arrival and on resort communication experience for our guests helping them to plan and navigate the Butlin’s experience, building excitement, recommendation and brand love.
This is a six month fixed term contract to provide maternity leave cover.
You will be responsible for:
The guest communication journey for your designated resort: Supporting the changes required at pace to match the business focus.
Evolving communications through insight and guest feedback for the delivery of an aligned brand standard within your channels that help the guest get the most out of their break.
To evolve and simplify the pre-arrival journey, by providing personalised communications that build anticipation and excitement, using various marketing channels.
Responsible for the implementation and delivery of all on-resort marketing printed material and digital content. Ensuring communications are engaging, guest focused and help guests to plan their day (day one, day two, day three etc).
Manage the audit of current resort marketing materials, points of sale and messaging.
To lead and identify post booking tariff opportunities for your resort through add-on product sales that further enhance the guest experience.
Working closely with Marketing, Digital and Social teams to support the guest journey flow efficiently and accurately across all channels.
To deliver on an agreed budget. Consistently seek out improved ways of working, both internally and with external suppliers, improving efficiencies and reducing spending annually.
To own the
agreed projects with the Senior Marketing Manager to support the team efficiencies
across the agreed channels, whilst remaining accountable for your designated
resort by managing your time effectively.
We are looking for:
Experience of working with customer insight and a marketing background is essential to this role.
Copywriting is part of the role developing and organising content for communication alongside our Brand Team.
You will have experience working in a marketing role where you have managed multiple campaigns in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent copy writing skills, coupled with a creative mind for developing engaging campaigns
Review and learn from every break, utilise insight and feedback to ensure we remain proactive in our communications planning.
Requires the ability to plan both long term and in a reactive manner to meet changing business requirements.
The role requires great people skills so that excellent relationships are maintained with our product managers, insight & resort teams and creative art workers. This role works collaboratively with other departments to ensure the guest journey is seamless.
The ideal candidate will need to be able to travel their designated resort for one or two days each week.
