Funground Team Leader

Purpose of the role

The main role of a Team Leader is to provide a safe and secure environment for the guests, and a stage for the team to perform their best in daily. A Team Leader is the highest level of role model and an immediate point of support for all team in helping them achieve their operational and personals standards. You will also be involved in the management of cash procedures and helping to drive the financial success of the venue.

What do I have to achieve?

Ensure the setup and closure of the daily operation, with all resources maximised.
Coach and develop the team in their journey towards achieving their goals.
Demonstrate the expected credible behaviour of a member of the leadership team.

Key Responsibilities

Have a Fairground presence, being a point of support during the operation.
Drive a culture of engagement and development.
Ensure that the operation is complaint with the Fairground Operational Safety Policy and HSE guidance.
Ensure high levels of competency are present when undertaking all roles within the operation.
Effectively implement current and new processes within the operation, including the evolution of Normal Operating Procedures.

Essentials

Understanding of different communication styles, along with your own, with the ability to communicate with versatility at all levels i.e. Social Media, face-to-face and via phone/radio.
Ability to be versatile, flexible, agile in leadership approach to support the needs of the business to ensure the guest expectations are met.
Ability to effectively lead, motivate and engage your team, even in times of high demand.

Other information – the role will require a high level of flexibility and a Detailed role profile will be provided to the successful candidate.
