Each of our three resorts in Bognor Regis, Minehead and Skegness employs around 1,000 people and it’s this team of cleaners, chefs, maintenance, servers, gardeners, security, technicians, admin, warehouse and many more, as well as our Central Support team in Hemel, who all play an equal part in creating smiles and memories that last a lifetime.
1. To develop our ongoing understanding of our existing Butlin's guests and potential guests of the future and how we can develop our brand & experience to meet their needs.
2. To develop our day to day Guest Insight programme to ensure we deliver clear and informative guest feedback to the business.
3. Analyse and interpret data to identify areas performing well or those that need improvement. This will involve identifying the root cause, the impact it has on our guest experience, or highlighting where further research is needed.
4. To produce timely updates to the business on our guest experience measures, with the findings from your analysis and translate this into telling our story in a clear way.
Responsible for connecting and interpreting different data sources across the business to create a clear understanding of our guest feedback, converting data to insight to ‘tell the story’ of our guest experience.
Share this information in a constructive and timely way with clarity, to enable the business to action feedback and make the right decisions for our guests, team and business.
Use existing data and research opportunities to support our proposition team in building a Butlin’s for the future.
Using your strong analytical skills, combine external consumer data with internal guest data to support in tracking and measuring success internally and across the UK market.
Pro-actively identify opportunities for further analysis, projects, Qual and Quant research or self-development areas.
Plan and prepare all month end Guest Insight reporting packs which highlight; an easy to interpret story of our Guest experience across their journey with us, the impact of any changes to our proposition or investments, and a summary of any additional research undertaken.
Work closely with our marketing data analyst to have a clear understanding of current projects and work in collaboration to maximise any output with the same voice.Support our marketing data analyst as required to refresh any system and process knowledge.
A background in working with data analysis, with clear examples on using different sources, to interpret and bring to life the story.
An understanding in an agile way of working to constantly evolve product based on insight.
An understanding of guest profiling and marketing knowledge is preferable but not essential.
Well versed in using and generating data reporting that can be used and understood across the business that covers the ‘so what?’ and can be easily translated into action plans.
In this role you will be someone who always has the true intent in being the voice of our guest and, is curious to know more and find root causes with the impact these have.
Ability to translate complex data analysis or detail and communicate these in a clear way to multiple audiences.
Strong Excel and Powerpoint skills with attention to detail at all times.
Previous experience with survey tools such as Qualtrics or others similar.
Previous experience with SAS 360, SAS Enterprise Guide or other data select tools.
Great personal skills, enabling you to build relationships across varied remote departments both at Hemel and our resorts.
A good communicator to multiple different types of audiences.
Is motivated to support continuous improvement in everything we do.
Is able to work collaboratively across teams and individually as required.
Problem Solving & Planning
A proactive approach to task and communications, using own knowledge and that gained across the business to highlight issues at the earliest opportunity before they become embedded problems.
Sharing best practice and knowledge with teams across the business.
Able to manage workload effectively.
Is always engaged to do the right thing and is happy to help those that need support.
This role is critical to business success and future developments, including investment projects. The role will be key in supporting our overall NPS and EBITDA measures.
The insight gained within this role is pivotal to the forward planning and success of future break types.
This role can directly lead to positive changes in the way we work or the product and experience we deliver which impact our guests, team and business.
Recommendations are made to leaders across the business, also supporting decisions made by product marketing and yield teams.
