Digital Content Executive

Here at Warner Leisure Hotels, we are currently looking for a Digital Content Executive to join our wonderful Content Team.

Purpose of the role:

Reporting to the Digital Content Manager, the Digital Content Executive is responsible for managing the content and supporting the development of the Warner digital channel in order to engage and inspire guests.  Thereby developing the Warner Leisure Hotels brand and ultimately, improving conversion.

Role responsibilities:

Day to day management of content across the Warner Leisure Hotels website to deliver engaging content and messaging consistency across all digital touchpoints. This includes changing marketing messages, sales offers and promotions, creating bespoke landing pages and general website updates

Work with the Digital Content Manager to implement the content plan via the website content management system in order to support guest, brand, hotel and promotional goals

Ensure that the content developed supports guest needs, improves conversion and sales, and builds the Warner Leisure Hotels brand

Work with the digital marketing and product teams to execute a content optimisation programme to improve conversion rates

Work with copywriter to brief in copy requirements to create engaging website content

Work with cross-functional teams to understand and promote new products and features available to entice new guests to book online e.g. new propositions, break types or entertainment

Support and guide stakeholders to apply digital best practice for developing web pages (e.g. brand, tone of voice, SEO, accessibility, effective user interface/user experience and user journey or other best practice)

Liaise with stakeholders across the Hemel support centre and at individual hotels to ensure that all content is timely, relevant and accurate

Manage multiple projects in parallel from conception to delivery and be able to report key findings and learnings

Report on the KPIs set to demonstrate the effectiveness of content e.g. use of heatmaps and Google Analytics

Role requirements:



Has a background/passion for all things digital and website content management

Experience of using a content management system to plan, produce and deploy content, with a basic understanding of HTML

An understanding and use of website analytics to inform and track activity – ideally Google Analytics

Strong attention to detail and accuracy required ensuring the Warner guest online experience is up to date, easy to understand and as engaging as possible

Be proactive and self-starting, with a flexible approach and the ability to work under pressure

Is comfortable with presenting to key stakeholders including senior members and manage their expectations

Creative thinker – able to spot new trends, emerging technology and willing to put your ideas forward



Basic Photoshop editing skills

Knowledge of SEO
