Revenue Management Systems Manager

We are looking for Revenue Management Systems Manager to join the revenue management team at Butlins. The role will work closely with the Head of Revenue Management and Revenue Team to develop and refine new processes that enable more efficient and effective pricing decisions within the current environment ensuring consistency is followed. 

Purpose of the role

?Reporting to Head of Revenue Management
?To develop and support the continuous improvement of Revenue Management processes at Butlins
?Scoping short term, mid-term & long-term requirements
?Responsibility for development of trading training pack for new starters
?Ensuring accurate input of data sources into our trading system
?Responsibility for testing program for future developments and changes to our trading strategies
?Creation of new target curves and playbooks
?Scoping and delivery of forecasting model
?Work with revenue managers to develop and refine new pricing processes and strategies that enable more effective pricing decisions

Experience and Skills Required

Desirable background in revenue management
Experience of working in a process improvement role and continuous change
Experience of developing revenue management reporting and systems
Strong excel and analytical
Preferable Tableau / Qlik view / Power BI / SQL experience
Strong academic background
Strong presentation skills
Strong understanding of Revenue Management principles and processes, within the travel sector 
Experience working in a commercial or process improvement role, ideally within the hotel, airline or car rental sectors 
Strong fact-gathering and research skills, with excellent attention to detail
Strong/advanced MS Excel skills
Experience in handling and manipulating large quantities of data
Experience in building and applying systematic error checking processes
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Degree in business, finance, maths / science, or marketing desirable
