Each of our three resorts in Bognor Regis, Minehead and Skegness employs around 1,000 people and it’s this team of cleaners, chefs, maintenance, servers, gardeners, security, technicians, admin, warehouse and many more, as well as our Central Support team in Hemel, who all play an equal part in creating smiles and memories that last a lifetime.  

Role Purpose

We’re on a journey within our team to support in building a Butlin’s for the future with our data and insight programs.  This is a great opportunity for someone who is pro-active with a curious mind and is ready to support our leaders, insight and data teams to transform our guest experience.
The role involves tackling any and all relevant data or systems, and using your amazing skillset and experience to present a clear story to stakeholders.  We’re changing our business now more than ever, so you feel comfortable working on varied projects in a fast paced environment.
Analyse and interpret data from multiple sources using relevant tools, data and statistical models
Transform data and measures into insight, and present an easy to understand story back to stakeholders with actionable outputs
Understand who our guests are at every level of their journey and their behaviours
Support leaders across the business to:
Understand our guests in more detail
Make the right decisions based on data insights
Track the performance of any new trials in our offering
Improve our guest experience
Understand the return on investments
Identify opportunities or gaps for further research or development
Maintain and evolve our Qualtrics platform to maximise the ROI, while providing more insights to improve our guest experience through every part of their journey with us

Key Responsibilities:

Using multiple sources of data (e.g. from our booking system, Qualtrics insight platform, external data) to analyse in a robust way and present value-adding results back to stakeholders.
Support the business in decision making by helping leaders to understand our guests and their journey with us
Maintain and develop our Qualtrics platform to grow our insight program through new dashboards, analysis, sentiment and integration with other business platforms.
Pro-actively identify opportunities and gaps which support automation, guest experience, team experience and business financial measures such as EBITDA.
Support internal and external projects by using your analytical skills and capabilities to bring projects to life through visual presentation
An ideal candidate:
Will have 2+ years of relevant experience
Has excellent analytical skills in MS Excel (SQL preferred but not essential)
Is comfortable using statistically robust methods to support the story telling and highlight;
Cause and effect
Trends and forecasts
Warning flags or opportunities
Relationships between data sets
Is comfortable with different formats and unstructured data sets
Is eager to understand the data from different perspectives
Is an effective communicator with audiences across different teams and roles
Takes initiative and is enthusiastic about generating ideas, completing projects, sharing knowledge or supporting team and stakeholders.
Has strong PowerPoint skills to present the data and insight stories to audiences in a visually engaging way
