Accommodation Maintenance Technician

of the role
An exciting vacancy has arisen
in our Facilities department for an Accommodation Maintenance Technician.
You will be reporting to the Head of Facilities, you will be responsible for the
maintenance and upkeep of Village Accommodation ensuring maintenance jobs are
completed within the required timescale to the highest standards for our guests
to enjoy.
Typical working hours are five days over seven, including weekends. A variety of shift patterns are available from 8.30am - 11pm
Key
areas of responsibility:
*Delivering the highest possible standards of maintenance.
*Work closely with the housekeeping team and provide updates of maintenance issues, including timescales for completion and resolutions
*Keeping guest areas maintained so everything about us is pristine
*Providing the quickest possible response to our guest’s problems
*High working standards
*Ensuring safe environments are maintained at all times
*Adhering to current health and safety legislation
Candidate requirements:
*Sound working background in a maintenance / construction environment.
*Ability to prioritise workloads and always act in the best interest of our guests.
*Have a passion to succeed and deliver exceptional customer service in results driven environment
*Have a flexible approach to working unsociable hours where required within a business that operates 7 days a week, normal working hours are up to 40 hours but may change due to business circumstances
*Have a problem-solving attitude and be able to think outside the box and be able to focus on the detail and prioritise to ensure the biggest positive impact.
*Strong communication skills to allow relationships between departments, guests and team
*Have the ability to work from the direction of management and own initiative to complete deadlines
