Revenue Manager (Maternity Cover) - Haven

Revenue Manager 

This role of Revenue Manager is ideal for a commercially aware individual, ready to further develop their career within the travel industry. Your responsibility is to support designated Caravan Parks in the achievement of annual budgets for both revenue and sales volume. This will be achieved through the identification of commercial opportunities, leading to strategic and tactical implementation of pricing and inventory decisions based on demand forecasting and external environment implications. As a member of the Revenue Management Team, you will use available systems and regular communication with the relevant HEMs (Holiday Experience Managers based on Park) leading to the development of business through the various distribution channels available.


As Revenue Manager I am responsible for:

Pricing & Inventory Management
•Effective forecasting of future demand patterns and trends to maximise all revenue generating opportunities.
•Revenue maximisation will be delivered through the generation of the right prices at the right places at the right time.
•To highlight and promote areas requiring improvement by proactively supplying sales and marketing functions with tactical pricing and promotions to ensure that individual park and overall business budgets are achieved and exceeded.
•Ensuring inventory is optimised and available for sale on our reservation system through regular fleet audits.

Systems & Process Management
•Using the automated Revenue Management System to ensure the optimal price is charged across all sales channels.
•Assisting in the setup and adjustment of the new season's inventory including re- mapping of school holiday dates.
•Monitoring and adjusting letting units on the reservation system in conjunction with park teams to meet demand.
•Liaising with the stock team to ensure delivery and sale of haven owned caravans is reflected correctly on the reservation system.



Reporting
•To manage the analytical process of park performance and to report findings and recommendations of remedial action back to the business.
•Input in to the weekly Commercial Update Report.
•Developing reports to enable greater visibility of distressed inventory to internal stakeholders.
•Ad hoc commercial reporting.
