ROLE PURPOSE
To support the Director of Communications in designing, implementing and delivering an internal communications and engagement strategy for the business that allows the business to communicate with clarity, confidence and consistency to key audiences.

To create and facilitate accurate, engaging and timely communications to the business

To build strong relationships with key stakeholders across Bourne Leisure and its brands to be able to support the business with its internal communications requirements


KEY RESPONSIBLILITIES

To support in the creation and delivery of communications that share BL and its brands’ strategic objectives  and progress in a way that our 17000 team members can understand and articulate to our guests when required. 

To establish and manage better communications infrastructure, systems and processes to drive significant improvements in the way we communicate across Bourne Leisure

To support the Director of Communications in regularly evaluating internal communications and engagement activity and proactively consider and promote ways to ensure continuous improvement

To ensure our teams receive timely, engaging communications that engender stronger engagement and loyalty and connects them to the business, helping them to understand the role they have to play to deliver the strategy and delight guests
To design and deliver communications channels and tools that will enable the business to deliver its key messages to 17000 team members and leaders, including;

To design, deliver and manage a new SharePoint intranet working alongside key stakeholders in the brands and IT. 

To create and manage engaging communications tools that regularly inform and share news and stories from around the business

To support in the design, management and promotion of two way communication and engagement mechanisms including the company’s team engagement survey

To work closely with Director of Communications, brand communications and IT to articulate, support and promote the adoption of a modern workplace.

To support Director of Communications in the delivery of the annual leadership conference plus other conferences and events throughout the year




QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Essential
A minimum of 3-5 years experience working in internal communications for large businesses
Working knowledge of Sharepoint and Office 365 tools
Ability to build and maintain effective relationships at all levels
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal


Desirable
Working knowledge of managing an intranet project
Good project management skills
